The Course:
You will create a bronze sculpture of your own using modern, light and easy to use materials. At the end of the course you will have a bronze sculpture cast and patinated by you. It will be easy for you to make more bronze sculptures at your home or studio.
You will learn this
ancient technique, today in reach of amateurs and artists, men and women.
The instructor will supervise you during the course, seeing to every
detail of the learning process. The instructor’s knowledge of French,
English and Spanish has helped students from all over the world.
You will stay at an old, traditional, renovated Provençal farmhouse.
You can come along with your spouse or with a friend, even if only you follow the course.
There are wonderful Provençal landmarks nearby: The fortified city of Avignon (home of the French popes), the ancient Roman Pont du Gard and the green and untouched Drôme Provençale are only a few examples.
Sainte Cécile les Vignes is situated in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône area. The villages of Séguret, Cairanne, Vacqueyras, Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape are all less than 20 minutes away.
